We all have some primitive need to be connected with the environment and especially with children, cultivating a nature connection in their childhood will be a gift that lasts for their whole lives.
With an increasing number of children are seemingly unconnected with the natural world, we feel that our modern society ’s growing dependence on technology and shrinking time spent outdoors is having a negative impact on kids.
In nature, you’re engaged, you’re focused, your brain isn’t applying the brakes anymore. Whereas a child walking through a crowded mall — their brains are being taxed out.
