Live with Ladia and Amy as an apprentice and learn through a hands-on experience sustainable and off-grid living in the tropical Lenggong, Malaysia.
“What an amazing place we’ve discovered! The week we had spent here brought us more than we expected. The knowledge that we learned in 1 week will be so useful for us. (We’ll make a lot of bread now.) Thank you for welcoming us as you did. For sure it was one of the most amazing experience we lived for.”Joachim & Aurore from Reunion Island.
The aim of the apprenticeship program is to empower you in achieving your goals of a sustainable and self-sufficient way of life. Our philosophy of education is not about delivering facts and information, we believe in guiding and sharing what we have learned which thus gives you the freedom to chart your own learning, conclusions and ideas.
During your week of learning, you will be covering the topics we offer in natural farming, living and healing :
One topic will be dedicated to each day with exception of organic farming and animal care (on these topics we will spend more time as it is impossible to cover them in one day).
As an apprentice, you will be working with the farm’s schedule. Our mornings begin at around 8am, with a breakfast break and continues till 12pm. After lunch, there’s always an afternoon siesta break to avoid the harsh sun. We resume again around 3pm and wrap up the day by 6pm before coming together to prepare and enjoy dinner together. As we will be living like a family in a communal setting, you will need to contribute your part to the daily household chores.
A minimum duration of one week stay (6 nights) is required. Recommended 2 weeks.
For RM560 per person (RM100 less for the 2nd week), accommodation will be in private tents at a covered open air building. (Upgrade to a private room available at additional RM200/week) and meals are included. Mealtimes are shared with guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We also offer 3 and 6 month long term apprenticeships. Please ask us!
To request for an apprenticeship stint with us, please write to tell us more about yourself, your motivation and any questions so we are able to get to know you better.
Important Arrival Information
Every Sunday and Wednesday at mid-day are our allocated times for pick up in Lenggong town. Due to our schedule, we are unable to accept apprentices on an ad-hoc basis. We also require at least one week notice ahead of your arrival date.
“The first and most obvious thing I learnt of this experience is how to live with nature. The purpose was to awaken ancient connections between ourselves and the environment, based on feelings, on necessary needs and interventions in order to make this sustainable lifestyle more understandable.”Elise from Belgium.
“We came to learn and achieved our objective perfectly! We hope to come back again as true farmers, exchanging experiences and seeds from our own land very soon.” Ridhwan, Faizal, Zainuri, Fakhri, Adibah & Maryam from Malaysia.
